Who is Heidi Alexander, anyway?
No one had ever heard of her until Jeremy Corbyn, who himself had never met her, made her Shadow Health Secretary in one of his many passings over of his own supporters in preference for people who would not spit on him if he were on fire.
Apparently, she graduated from Durham the year before I did. But no one of my vintage has any memory of her. She obviously had no political involvement in those days.
And now, she wishes to "pilot" the wretched new junior doctors' contract, effectively making it impossible to oppose.
At Lewisham East in 2020, vote for the National Health Action Party, if it puts up. If it does not, then vote for the second placed party, which is the Conservative Party.
The Conservatives are going to win somewhere. They may as well make themselves useful.
