Let England Speak, Indeed

Try a referendum on an English Parliament.

It would pass in the South East, by rather less in East Anglia, and perhaps in the not too far south-western South West.

But it would not get a third of the vote anywhere else, or a quarter in very many places.

  1. No need for any such thing.

Just legislation to the effect that, in return for giving the Scottish more powers over their own affairs , any law affecting the English requires a majority of English MP's to pass.

It's beautifully simple and nobody could oppose it.

    Without revealing their real motives.
