A Decade of Excess

I have never turned down a paycheque from Dennis Publishing. Yet The Guardian's obituary for Felix Dennis makes this most important point about the true history of Britain over the last 50 years:

He was unembarrassed by a decade of excess in the 1980s, during which he spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on drink and crack cocaine, with "14 naked hookers catering to my every whim," he boasted, and "partying like a lunatic".

Well, who did you think had voted for Margaret Thatcher? It was the Sixties Swingers. Of course.
