Rupert's Little Helper

Michael Gove has had six meetings with Rupert Murdoch in the last year, including two dinner dates last month.

Fresh out of Oxford, the Conservative Research Department could find no link between Gove and its party. Yet look at him now.

Entryism, plain and simple. And that in the service of what can reasonably be called a foreign power.

  1. Murdoch has held court for Osborne even more often than that. Wee Gideon seems to spend most of his time there and the rest lobbying for the employment of Coulson. He sure as hell does not spend his time fixing the economy.

You do have the bit between your teeth on this one, making you a much better journalist than many of the great and the good. You won't be on the new, revamped PCC. But you should be.

  2. I'd invite Ian Hislop to chair it. Private Eye's put up or shut up moment.
