I won't be retiring anyway four or five years from now.

She has lost this seat. Just listen to anyone here on the subject. All it needs now is someone to take it.

  2. You're right, no-one in her world works into their sixties. Her husband will have been retired for 10 years by the next Election because he went on his 50th birthday. She'd want to be a one term MP if she wanted to be an MP in the first place.

  3. What are you going to do with the money if you cannot raise the deposit or cannot enough imbeciles to sign your nomination papers?

Give it to charity or spend it on yourself?

  4. The deposit and the nomination paper signatories have been taken care of for over a year. If anything, it is Pat Glass who needs to worry on the latter score. Whoever her signatories are, they certianly won't be the people who get the vote out. Of course, she doesn't think that she needs that...

  5. It is usefully impossible to trace the contributors to a Pay Pal button. Presumably anything left over from the election will be put towards the think tank(s). Or the next election. Or both.

  6. Anything left over? We should be so lucky!

Watch this space on the think tank work. Shaping up nicely.
