Holy Father, Unholy Auntie

The assault on the Pope gave the BBC an excuse, not only for its habitual product placement on behalf of The Tablet, pathologically dissident other employer of several Beeboids, but also to let off its anti-Catholic Tourettes. Was this woman a random nutter, as has in fact turned out to have been the case? No, of course not. She was protesting against those aspects of the Holy Father's "agenda" which have the sheer presumption to differ from the agenda of the BBC. Well, she must have been. Mustn't she...?

  1. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation, which if anything is more completely dominated by anti-Catholic liars (though less dominated by Jewish anti-Catholic liars) than the Beeb, headlined its story on the assault "Leap of Faith". Typical.

  2. The Jewishness of the BBC is a very strange thing. It is undeniable, but it certainly doesn't translate into terribly much support for Israel.

The Beeb may appear anti-Israeli to people used to America or to most of the British print media, but that isn't really saying anything. However, it isn't really anti-Israeli, either. Yet it is certainly very, very Jewish.

Its attitude to Catholicism, on the other hand, is nothing if not clear-cut.
